Browsing open opportunities

How to find and respond to open quote requests that are ideal for your capabilities.

Introduction

An Opportunity is a quote request from a prospective customer. Customers can submit quote requests to you directly, and/or make their quote request open for all relevant suppliers to quote.

If a new opportunity is available in the marketplace that meets your capabilities, you'll receive an email notification.

Filtering opportunities

In the Opportunities view, you can use filters to find the ideal jobs for your facility.

  • Annual units: Set an MOQ or max quantity
  • Earliest request date: Find opportunities that were submitted after a certain date.
  • Latest expiration date: Find opportunities that expire before a certain date.
  • Product category: See opportunities for specific products.
  • Needs development: See opportunities that require supplier expertise to complete the specs.

More about "Needs development" opportunities: These opportunities give customers the option to request quotes for items they haven't produced, and may not have complete specs for. On these opportunities, you'll be able to suggest specs based on customers' desired packaging type, usage, and other details. From there, customers can save your specs as a new item and place an order. Learn how to respond to packaging development opportunities here.

When you find an opportunity that you want to quote, here's how to start quoting.
